Love Guru Sujeiry Gonzalez visits Rays Podcast to provide ‘straight talk’ on relationships. Hear more about her new book “Love Trips: A Collection of Relationship Stumbles” and Valentine’s Day tips for couples and all our sexy singles!
Sujeiry sheds light on her journey in becoming the vibrant
relationship expert, author, and on-air personality that tells “it like it is” today. She makes it known that her success was built on her willingness, drive, and determination to get what she wants and market herself to opportunities she believed she could achieve.
She gets into real advice as she answers the question “I’ve been living with my man for a couple years, will it be pushy if I ask him when are we getting married?” and answers Ray’s “keepin’ it real” questions involving professional and successful Latinas in relationships where men may feel intimidated of their success. Sujeiry makes sure to tell these ladies that love comes unexpected and free flowing and whether that man is highly educated or not, as long as there is love, that is all that matters.
Love Trips: A Collection of Relationship Stumbles was talked about on multiple ends as Sujeiry shed light on how and why the book was written as well as what the book taught her personally. She also taps into one of her topics within the book called “Choosing” which she explains as “I have a really bad history of choosing the wrong men”. She goes into detail about how women end up choosing the men they end up with, the dating patterns, and how we can progress as women in our dating habits.
Valentines Day is approaching and Sujeiry had major advice for couples and singles! For the couples out there, she emphasized on the nature of Valentines day and how it has become bigger than what it really is. She advises that couple should take it easy and do it simple and enjoy the genuine time together. For the singles, she wants you to know that sitting home sad and upset is NOT what you should be doing. “Valentines day is about amor, love, not the love you lacl, so focus on those you love” So go out with the ladies, spend time with your family members, enjoy that day of love!
